December 13th, 2018, 5:23 am

February 3rd, 2011, 11:27 pm

Diglett evolved into squadron

February 3rd, 2011, 11:28 pm

February 3rd, 2011, 11:56 pm

Can he really learn that move o.O I want a flying Diglet

February 3rd, 2011, 11:58 pm

He can totally learn that move.

February 4th, 2011, 12:06 am

I was expecting a Peanuts reference.

February 4th, 2011, 3:04 am

Thing is, how does diglett even use scratch...

February 4th, 2011, 8:07 am

Cute :)

February 4th, 2011, 11:05 am

February 4th, 2011, 11:37 am

Excuse me while I roll on the floor, laughing

February 4th, 2011, 11:49 am

How Diglett can even use Scratch has always been a mystery to me.
And now Arial Ace... hurrrr.

Awesome strip, though. Diglett looks good with those goggles. XD

February 4th, 2011, 3:12 pm

This = win.

February 4th, 2011, 3:58 pm

with this, it makes more sense than scratch.

February 4th, 2011, 7:49 pm

Oh diglett, you make absolutely no sense...

February 4th, 2011, 11:03 pm

Wooper can learn Ice Punch without arms.

February 5th, 2011, 9:58 pm

its cool when using diglett in the pokeathalon's jump category

February 6th, 2011, 6:25 pm

I wish I was him flying right now looks fun~ (:

February 7th, 2011, 3:27 pm

hmm the navigation keys to read previous comics is missing

February 9th, 2011, 11:05 am

You better be referring to Archer.

February 9th, 2011, 11:56 am

Logic is there

Aerial-Ace's original jap. name means "Swellow Return cut" and refers to a legendary sword technique. How that became a flying type move isn't clear to me (just because there is swellow in it lol)

February 9th, 2011, 2:49 pm

Swellow Cut?

You mean Swallow, right?

The legendary sword technique was probably not named after a Pokemon.

Also, Gastly learns Fire Punch without any appendages at all.

February 12th, 2011, 9:55 pm

Make more foo! >>

February 16th, 2011, 7:51 pm

Diglett used barrel roll!

February 27th, 2011, 10:17 pm

Diglett get out of that plane this doesn't make any sense you don't even have a pilots license.

March 14th, 2011, 1:34 pm

March 17th, 2011, 8:52 pm

Ugh, Diglett. Not Diglet. Seriously, check your damn comics.

March 18th, 2011, 2:42 am

Huh. Could have sworn it was a single t. Oh well!

March 28th, 2011, 12:40 pm

A Diglett? Learning Aerial Ace? And flying a plane to do it??

Seems Legit.

April 4th, 2011, 5:33 pm

I've always wondered: What does Diglett even scratch with?! O_o

April 11th, 2011, 11:59 pm

XDD Oh wow. <33

April 19th, 2011, 1:49 pm

I don't know if you'll see this, but I just thought you should know...

That is not his nose it is his mouth with a tooth.

April 19th, 2011, 2:08 pm

Desk: It's a nose. The official art and anime agree on that it's a protrusion, not a hole.

April 24th, 2011, 12:24 pm

Amagad I never considered the nose being a mouth! CANNOT UNSEE!!!

April 29th, 2011, 12:02 pm

It should be pretty easy to see that it is a nose really. If you watch some original artwork you'll see that the white, shiny area isn't even near one of the edges of the nose and can therefore not be a tooth.

May 27th, 2011, 12:18 pm

I love that he's still buried in something lol. No one will ever see a Diglett's hind parts.

June 1st, 2011, 5:55 pm

June 26th, 2011, 3:38 pm

June 27th, 2011, 2:30 pm

they will never show digletts bottom half of his body ... shame

July 18th, 2011, 8:44 am

And the big question on my mind, is how did they know scratch in the first place?? They have no arms.

August 15th, 2011, 3:53 am

Diglett learns aerial ace because underneath the ground there is a pidgey.

August 27th, 2011, 6:03 pm

@Celestial_Wolf: Probably pops up out of the ground quickly, covered in sharp stones or something...

October 17th, 2011, 6:48 pm

REALLY adorable!

November 26th, 2011, 8:38 pm

If you don't know how Diglett uses scratch, then you never heard of a finned pokemon using METAL CLAW, of all things.

December 17th, 2011, 12:24 pm

Since diglett seems to be based on a mole, i've always thought diglett has claw-tipped paws just hidden underground

January 7th, 2012, 11:17 pm

i had the same kind of battle today. But it was a Slaking that knew it. for one thing, it can't fly. and for another its a super lazy pokemon. :-L

January 20th, 2012, 8:07 pm

Now let's get that Red Baron.

April 8th, 2012, 9:30 pm

these move strips are the best!

May 14th, 2012, 7:33 am

Diglet get out of the plane, that doesn't even make any sense >.<
This is almost as bad as when the diglet in mystery dungeon complained that it's feet hurt....

August 24th, 2012, 9:15 am

i want it

I want that last panel. On a shirt.

September 7th, 2012, 10:17 pm

Actually, Aerial has nothing to do with flying, contrary to popular belief. It's actually the wicked amount of speed said Pokemon has. Which doesn't explain why Lairon knows it. Shit.

October 21st, 2012, 3:56 pm

[Insert Comment Title]

Would you have any problem making a wallpaper sized version of that last panel?

May 8th, 2013, 3:44 pm

This is how

Diglett probably uses its nose for punches.
